Information processed by the site

The site does not require an account or ask for a precise location. Standard server and CDN logs can process technical information such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, time of request and security data. Retention is controlled by the hosting and CDN configuration.

Local storage

If you choose “Save this state on this device” in the countdown, the site stores a state preference in your browser’s localStorage. It is not sent as a profile to the site and can be removed through browser site-data controls.

Analytics

Production deployments may use a configured analytics endpoint to measure page and tool use. Analytics is designed not to include children’s information, exact location, dates of birth or other sensitive personal data. The endpoint and its retention policy are governed by the production deployment configuration.

Advertising, cookies and consent

Production content pages may use Google AdSense when it is configured. Google and its partners can use cookies or similar technologies to measure advertising, limit frequency and, where permitted by consent and local law, personalise advertising. A Consent Management Platform must manage the applicable consent choices before advertising tags are enabled. Non-personalised advertising may be used where consent is not available or required.

Third-party services

Government source links, analytics providers, advertising providers and the hosting/CDN may process information under their own privacy policies. Opening an external source takes you to that provider’s site.

You can clear localStorage in your browser, manage cookies through the consent interface where available, and use browser privacy controls. This policy may change when production services change; the date at the top of the page metadata is updated when the policy changes materially.
